Margaret Chustecka, MD, MBA

Before starting Internal Medicine of Greater New Haven in 2003, Dr. Chustecka served as attending physician in the Department of Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Yale School of Medicine. A board certified internist, Dr. Chustecka, studied medicine in Poland and received her MD from the Medical School of Warsaw, Warsaw, Poland. She received her MBA from Yale School of Management. In 2011, Dr. Chustecka began Aid for Orphan Relief, a non-profit organization designated to help provide orphaned children and the facilities that care for them, with proper nutrition, medical wellness services and treatments that would otherwise be unavailable to them.

At Internal Medicine of Greater New Haven, the team of expert internal medicine doctors strives to help young adults, adults, and seniors of Cheshire, Guilford, Hamden, Milford, North Haven, Meriden, Wallingford, West Haven, and Stratford, Connecticut, and the surrounding area experience and maintain optimal health. The practice emphasizes disease screening, to enable early detection of problems before they create serious health emergencies. The doctors also provide care for acute conditions, ongoing chronic medical illnesses, and general physical examinations.

Our practice is affiliated with Yale-New Haven Hospital, so we can refer and coordinate care with world-renowned medical specialists when necessary. The practice has ultrasound and laboratory services available on-site, as well as spirometry to screen for asthma and Holter monitors to measure your heart’s activity.

Insurance

We accept most major medical insurance plans. Please make sure to bring your current insurance information every time you come to visit our offices. You may be required to update your personal information each time you are seen in our offices. Medical insurance can seem complicated. Please feel free to ask questions. Our staff is happy to help you understand your insurance coverage. Our central billing office submits most bills directly to your insurance company. Co-payments and charges for non-insurance covered services are due at the time of the visit. You will receive a monthly statement that updates the status of your account. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Debit cards and cash as well as your personal check.
